Living in a region with a dynamic landscape of drum & bass music is a blessing. In particular, the Denver underground's appetite for a vast assortment of contrasting genres (and subgenres) illuminates that perspective. Critically, though, not having to put in the work of nurturing the scene makes those blessings all the more glorious. Like spoiled children, some have even become, "bass music snobs." And why not? We've been ensconced in the beats, for years. Certainly, the upcoming RECON XVIII event featuring Liondub, Anna Morgan, and Mister Shifter will likely carry on that tradition.
In other words, Recon, with their copious agents of bass, continues to obsessively accumulate future bassline intel so you don't have to. Simply make your way to the dancefloor and wait for the drop. Thus, as we approach the commemoration of their 18 years of dnb reconnaissance, it's obvious that they're still the top operatives for unwavering delivery of the assets.
